Hello my friends!!!

I really wanted to say hello to you all and share a few photographs from our last longest bike ride. On last Sunday me and my lovely Sashka were cycling from Upminster to Southend on Sea. We had so much fun and it was a very beautiful/incredible cycle route.

About ride: This was the first longest ride for us and I am proud of myself that have done it. For Sashka was more easier, I couldn't have done it without him. With breaks and lunch it only took 4 hours to make the route. We took train back to London :)

Distance ride: 45.5km

How to get there: We took underground train from Tower Hill to  Upminster (last station of district line/green line). From Upminster we avoided the  high road and took a roundabout way through the farms and woods.

Things to see: Beautiful farmlands, hills/mountains, valleys, farms, sea, beach, park

Photographer: Alex (Sasha)

Spending hours on my bike makes me happy!!!

My dear friend,

This is my first post written in Russian. Here, I will write a review of "Manuscript Found in Accra" by  Paulo Coelho. Paulo Coelho is one of my favorite authors and I bought this book in Russia last year, it is a book I absolutely love and could re-read it again and again. If you are not a russian speaker and would like to read what I wrote you can do it by choosing your native language. The banner "click to translate" appearing in the upper left corner of my blog.

9 Must see attractions in Nice

We spent one week in Nice, south of France. It's a superb place to forget about everything, to relax and to be in good mood :) I will share photographs and write briefly about those sights that really loved. This post might be helping you to fall in love with this city, too.

1. The "Promenade des Anglais" - the name Nice immediately brings to mind the renowned "Promenade des Anglais", which has come to stand for Nice itself and is a meeting-place for people from all over the world. The name Promenade des Anglais dates from 1844. Today the promenade is an elegant street lined with fashionable shops and celebrated buildings such as the Hotel Negresco, the Hotel Royal, the Ruhl Casino, and the Palais de la Mediterranee.

2. The port - The port was built by Charles Emmanuel III, Duke of Savoy. Begun in 1750, it was soon dubbed "Port Lympia" (port of the clear waters). From this port, the boats leave to Corsica, Sardinia and Marseille. There are numerous restaurants along the quays which do much to enliven the atmosphere .

3. Vieux Nice or Old Nice - No one should fail to visit the old city. It is like taking a sudden plunge into the past. I love all these narrow streets. The narrow streets all date back to the 17th or 18th centuries. Here you can see little squares, the flower pots at the windows, and laundry hanging out to dry on the balconies.

4. Le Chateau - We visited Le Chateau on the second day and we were super impressed of the spectacular panoramic view of the city and sea. To get there you can take elevator (not free) or hike up the stairs for free.

5. Place Massena - It is constantly trafficked, but in a pleasant way. It's place of fun and enjoyment for children and for adults, because of the plays of water from promenade du Paillon. Here is the center of Nice's night life and one of the many streets in the city's delightful pedestrian zone.

6.  CimiezArchaeology Museum & Roman Ruins - Museum was created in 1960, the museum houses a collection of objects brought to light by the excavations at Cimiez (ancient city), such as ceramics, Roman jewelry and pottery, and Greek, Etruscan and Italic vases.

7. Musee Matisse - Here are preserved elsewhere Henry Matisse's major works. Paintings and drawings on display here allow us to follow his evolution from the copies he made of the old masters up to his preparatory sketches for the Chapel of Vence.

8. Parc PhoenixLovely way to spend last day of holiday ( we have been there in the 2nd half of the last day). Easily accessible by bus  from Nice city centre and barely notice the sound of nearby airport.  If you have kids, then this place is a must. There is small zoo, very relaxing park with waterfalls, interesting details, excellent playing ground and very funny bamboo forrest. The entrance is only €2.

9. Theatre de la Photographie et de I'Image - From 28th Jun 2014 - 21st Sep it's Steve McCurry photography exhibition.  Make time while in Nice and visit here, you won't be disappointed. The exhibitions change a couple of times a year, and if they are showing a photographer or images that interest you, it is certainly worth the visit. The entrance is free and is not allow to take pictures.

Have you ever visited Nice? What else can you suggest to visit??? Where is your favourite place to go on vacantion???

Keep yourself happy!!!

All photos above were taken by Sasha while we were in Nice.
I adore retro-style, but at the same time I'm so keen to try different looks and play with different ways of wearing things.
I am not big fun of Hip Hop, R&B or Rap music, but I think this style suits me very well :)
Guess who chose this lovely dress and cap for me?
Of Course Sasha!!! He knows how to combine colours and how to choose an outfit that suits me :)
The dress and cap can be purchased at Primark (cheap store in UK).

What is your favourite outfit to wear??

Hello my friends!!! How is your week going so far?
I got sick yesterday and am still sick today. I didn't put a jacket on when went out and I've caught a cold. I know it is just a simple cold, but still it is so uncomfortable. All these lovely pictures made me to forget about how I am feeling and decided to come along with this post.
I bought this LOVELY dress from "LILY.J London" and this dress made me feel like a princess when I am wearing it. All these shots were taken also in Nice in different style and in different places.
Here I want to share what I've read today in "Cosmopolitane Magazine", it says, "You have to be your own best friend. If you always remember that, you will always have someone there with you." I really loved these simple words and they are expressed in a super smart way :)
Keep being your own best friend and you will never get alone!!!
And at the end I want to take this opportunity to share the video that Sasha made for me, for us, for our families, for "to not forget the moments" ...

Keep yourself happy!!!

Mallorca (Majorca) - Lovely Island

Hello everyone,
How are you all????
I hope you are all well!

I am at home right now with some spare time, I thought I might say hello and write about our this lovely vacantion.I am so pleased and excited to share photographs and all those fantastic moments that we had in Mallorca.  We had a good time seeing many parts of the beautiful island. We had 3 full awesome days on the spanish island Mallorca with Sasha and another friend.

Mallorca or Majorca, as it’s sometimes known, is the largest of the four Balearic Islands which lie off the East coast of Spain, in the Western Mediterranean.
Mallorca or Majorca, which one is correct ? well both are fine.
I preffer to use Mallorca (local spelling). However many years ago the Island was known as Majorca (meaning Major Island of the Balearics). Majorca is an English spelling (and maybe other languages).

Below I will write briefly about all those destinations that we visited:

1. Cala Comptessa - Illetes
Cala Comptessa is a beautiful sandy beach, which is surrounded by trees and low cliffs. The beach is a little less than 100 metres long and not very wide. The easiest way to access Cala Comtessa is by car. Parking is possible in the streets close to the beach.

2. Deia Village
The village is located on a hill in the shadows of the Teix mountain. The village is the centre of a constant flow of famous visitors. It's a rare find these days, like stepping back in time, if you want countryside, olive groves, citrus orchards, mountains and the sea this it the place for you!

3. Cala Deia
Beautiful little beach with a superb view, wonderful to relax! I didn't swim, becasue it is a pebble beach and even with special shoes I knew that would be difficult for me to get in water. Sasha with my friend had a bath and were happy.

4. Port de Soller
It is one of my favourite spots in Mallorca. Great eating places, lovely bars, no drunken young tourists. A place for those who love natural beauty and who like the finer things in life.

5. Magaluf Beach
Magaluf is situated on the south west coast of Mallorca. The official name of the beach is Platja de Magaluf. I really loved this beach and I think that food and shops are quiet cheap. I loved the blue tones of the water and that there are all services at the beach.

6. Port d'Andratx
This place is a very high-class tourist centre. The port of Port d’Andratx's is lined with expensive sailboats and yachts. Combined with expensive shops, fashionable restaurants and nightclubs it makes Port d’Andratx to one of the most exclusive resorts in Mallorca.

7. Alcudia
Alcudia is one of the towns in Mallorca that takes care of its historical and cultural heritage. We Went for the Market and a view of the old town, church is spectacular, market was good my friend and I bought a few things at a very good price. Very picturesque and interesting old town.

8. Platja de Alcudia
The beach of Alcudia is fantastic, especially for families with children. It is a very long and wide beach with fine white sand and very shallow water. It was a gorgeous day and to be in such a lovely place was magical. I would recommend you make time to go and admire the views.

8. Cathedral (Le Seu)
The cathedral is situated in central of Palma - Capital of the Island. Palma de Mallorca is known for its history, culture and shopping. Amazing cathedral in an amazing city. You cannot avoid to see it in all its majesty, from any spot of the city :)

9. Port of Palma de Mallorca
Very nice port and It is located in middle of the city. There is a bridge and from that bridge the view is fantastic. A must see!

Have you ever visited this Island? What else can you suggest to visit??? Where is your favourite place to go on vacantion???

Two Lovely Kids And Me

Hello Everyone!!! How was your weekend?

It's been a while I didn't post anything on my blog. I really missed your posts, they are wealth inspiration for me. Also want to mention that I am writing (sharing photos) here only when my mood is ready for it.
Today I am very motivated to share my happy moments that had last week with my these two adorable little friends. Alex and Sophia are very nice, lovely, educated and happy children, they also know how to make others happy even though they don't know about this. I love children of any age and thinking that lots of people like being around children just because they feeling more comfortable talking to them, playing with them and being themselves.

I asked Alex what they are making and he answered: " It is a tower Liuba and it is very leafy. All the leaves live in it, some bugs also live there and once a week they have party." :)
At the end will write few thoughts I really like. Osho says: "Every way to help a child is wrong. The very idea of helping is not right. The child needs your love, not your help. The child needs nourishment, support, but not your help. This way you should help the child. And each child is unique so there cannot be a general discipline for every child."

Do you enjoy being around children?
Keep yourself happy!!!

Me Before You By Jojo Moyes

A warm hello to all my friends and all the readers,

Today, I am going to write my opinion about a book I just finished reading. It is realy hard to start writing, I do not know from where to start and where to finish, also don't want to make a proper review as my advice is to buy and read it. It is a book you can dip in and out of once you have read it. The book made me laugh and cry. There were so many sad and emotional parts in this book (I remember how I was reading in train and there were some emotional parts and my tears were running down my face, I did not know what to do and closed the book).  I have not stopped thinking about main characters :Will Traynor and Louisa Clark since I finished the book. It will stay with me for a very long time...
A good book has no ending ...
Some of my favorite lines:

“Some mistakes... Just have greater consequences than others. But you don't have to let the result of one mistake be the thing that defines you. You, Clark, have the choice not to let that happen.”

“All I can say is that you make me... you make me into someone I couldn't even imagine. You make me happy, even when you're awful. I would rather be with you - even the you that you seem to think is diminished - than with anyone else in the world.”

“I will never, ever regret the things I've done. Because most days, all you have are places in your memory that you can go to.”

“I thought, briefly, that I would never feel as intensely connected to the world, to another human being, as I did at that moment.”

“You can only actually help someone who wants to be helped.”

“I kissed him, trying to bring him back. I kissed him and let my lips rest against his so that our breath mingled and the tears from my eyes became salt on his skin, and I told myself that, somewhere, tiny particles of him would become tiny particles of me, ingested, swallowed, alive, perpetual. I wanted to press every bit of me against him. I wanted to will something into him. I wanted to give him every bit of life I felt and force him to live.”

“ And I don't want to look at you every day, to see you naked,to watch you wandering around the annexe in your crazy dresses and not...not be able to do what I want with you. Oh, Clark,if you had any idea what I want to do to you right now.And I...i can't live with that knowledge. I can't. It's Not who I am. I can't be the kind of man who just...accepts.”

“I worked out what would make me happy, and I worked out what I wanted to do, and I trained myself to do the job that would make those two things happen”

“I held him close and said nothing, all the while telling him silently that he was loved. Oh, but he was loved.”
Only the last part of the letter
I strongly recommend you to read this book. It is a moving story about life, the human spirit, love and family...
Have a good Thursday and enjoy every moment!!!
Much love

Camley Street Natural Park

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend :)

Today we have visited the Camley Street Natural Park. It is situated walking distance from Kings Cross and St Pancras central London stations.

The address is:
Camley Street Natural Park
12 Camley street
London
NW1
It is open: Thurs - Sun 10am-5pm.
Admission: free

I really enjoyed going there, it made me feel relaxed and it feels like you are in another world – you’d never know you were in central London. You can hear the rush of water from the nearby lock and watch  colourful house-boats coast by from the grassy verge.  Everything there is made from recycled and natural materials - wooden fences and bird boxes, rough-hewn benches, a log pile for creepy-crawlies and other things. I am very glad there are people that are fighting to protect London's nature. There is a volunteer centre run by the London Wildlife Trust. Everyone of us can support their cause by taking home a potted plant for just £1. I really loved this place and hope that the post-industrial developement of King's Cross won't swamp this worthy enterprise.
Something Fishy :)
It is just so lovely
Me walking to the next point

Today I was wearing white, red & blue top from Forever21, denim shorts from Topshop, gray tights from Tezenis, shoes from Topshop, necklace from  Urban Outfitters and bracelet from one of Mallorca's markets.
I love all these photos and want to thank Sasha (Alex) for the great job. I will never be able to thank him enough for his kindness and patience.
Sasha, all of these photos make me smile!

I wish you a good start into the new week

Joules Navy Wellies

Hello to all my friends and to those who are visiting my blog.
I hope you all had a great weekend :)
I would like to start of by saying that I have not posted for a while simple because have been back home for two weeks, got back to "BUSY" London and only now I am back to you. About my recent trip to Moldova and Romania will write when will get the right mood for it.
Today I am in the mood to talk about my Navy Joules Wellies. I live in London for about 2 years and I somehow never owned proper rubber boots. So when my friend Lizzy from Russia visited London she bought nice red wellies for herself, I really liked them, she was looking adorable in her new red wellies. On the next day we went to the same shop (Joules) and I saw these navy ones I instantly made them mine. When I am wearing my these wellies thinking about my lovely friend Lizzy. My favorite detail is the little gold buckle on the side.
With my Lizzy - the one who inspired me to purchase my Navy ones :)
All these photographs were taken by Sasha (not the last one) in The Garden of St Dunstan In The East (London). This hidden garden is one of the few little lungs in the City. This medieval church was devastated with bombs in World War II, leaving the interior just an empty shell. But the ruins and the Wren Tower have become dramatic frames for the imaginative planting of wall shrubs and climbers.
This stunning photo was taken by me
Dunstan's Window - photo by me
Today I was wearing red rain jacket from Charity Shop, navy dress from Mango and Navy Wellies from Joules.

Sydenham Hill Woods

Hello my friends!!! How is your week going so far?
I am very well and happy to have the opportunity to write here about our (mine and my friend's) long and worthwhile walk through the Sydenham Hill Woods.

How to get there: Train from Victoria to Sydenham Hill (20min). Exit Sydenham Hill  station via College Road, cross the road, and head up the broad path to the top of the hill. At the gate, turn left a walk along Crescent Hill Road to the entrance to Sydenham Hill Woods.

I grew up in the woods of Moldova and Russia. I like countryside life: fields, forests, woods, lakes, ponds. I miss those childhood days when me and my friends used to run through the woods or go all together for the wild berries.

On Saturday I was thinking so much about my cool childhood and about how blessed I am to have all the feelings I got in my head memory. We had such a great time walking through the wood and seeing the beauty of nature. The weather has been so wet and also sunny and the air so fresh, we were able to feel the real bloom of natural wild life. There are some benches and all those benches can make an unique portrait for an human eye and close to those benches is a metal fence separates the woods from a golf course.

At this point we turned right following the path to Dulwich Common and after took left hand to get to Dulwich Park. There is a good cafe in the middle of the park, where we had our late lunch.
Amazing place for a stroll or picnic.
Nice Bridge
Beautiful place to chill :)
The park is busy with families, runners and dog walkers. It is a beautiful place to go for a walk, have a picnic or sit and read a book.
I really hope you enjoyed my this blog post!

The One Plus One By Jojo Moyes

It's been a month since I read this book. The One Plus One is a lovely story written by British novelist Jojo Moyes. She is an awesome writer and I started loving her books after reading "Me Before You". I am so glad that found a lovely, new, modern author. The story is about a single mom - Jess, her stepson - Nick, her math genius daughter - Tanzie, their dog - Norman and Ed - a man with big problems of his own. Ed decides to offer to drive Jess and her family to Scotland to Tanzie's math competition. This book has a bit of everything, the characters are so real (people with problems, mistakes) and also has valuable life lessons to be learned.
I laughed, I cried, and I cheered.
Would definitely recommend to any of my friends, followers!!!
KEEP CALM and XOXO :)

Some of my favorite lines:
"Because even if the whole world was throwing rocks at you, if you had your mother at your back, you'd be okay."

"He felt her injustices more fiercely than he had ever felt anything for himself. He realized, as he held her to him and kissed the top of her head and felt her cling to him, that he would do anything he could to make her happy, and her kids, and to keep them safe and give them a fair chance".

"Do you know what my name is, converted to binary code?"
He looked at her. "Is Tanzie your full name?"
"No. But it's the one I use."
He blew out his cheeks. "Um. Okay. 01010100 01100001 01101110 01111010 01101001 01100101."
"Did you say 1010 at the end? Or 0101?"
"1010. Duh."

“I know I shouldn't be," he murmured, "but I woke up really happy." His face scanned hers. "I mean, like, really, stupidly happy. Like even though my whole life is a disaster, I just...I feel okay. I look at you, and I feel okay.”

“Convinced that if she wished hard enough, good things would finally happen.”
Keep yourself happy!!!

Dear Mom,

Today is your 58'th Birthday, many years ago on this very day, you came into this world to bring us happiness, joy and a lot of love. I was so happy to hear your sweet, lovely voice this morning when I called you - you are the greatest gift of my life. Lots of children would say that their moms are the best and this is very fair and I also truly believe that Maria, Zina, Steopa, Nadea, me and Nicusor have been blessed with the world's greatest mom. You our angel that God sent from heaven to love each of us so passionately, to care of us, to teach us beautiful things about this wonderful life, to show us a perfect picture of unselfishness...
Today I am very happy and want to thank you for your unconditional love from the moment I came into this world. Thank you for allowing me to spread my wings and fly, always knowing you are there to catch me if I fall. Thank you for being you.
I love so, so, so, so, so, so, much, words cannot describe how I am feeling right now. I admire you, respect you, and adore you. I am SO thankful  you are my mom - Happy 58th Birthday Mommy!

Your daughter,
Liuba

Yesterday I was planning to wear different clothes, but in the afternoon when I saw the delightful light of the lovely sun I changed my mind and went out with these outfits :)
I love checking differents prints, colours and today was thinking so much with what should I combine my this long green shirt and very spontaneous thought about these white tights which I had purchased them more than one year ago.
However I'm happy with all the prints and colors that I've mixed.
Would you wear white tights with black shoes? Do you think it is a good combination?

12.12.4014 - Happy for four reasons

It's Friday and everything goes great!
Today I am feeling wonderful and everything seems so beautiful!
Here are four main reasons why I am happy today:

1. It's Friday (I love Fridays).

2. I am officially on holiday for the next 4 weeks. I have started my winter vacation 4 hours ago. Most of this time we will be in London and will try to celebrate Christmas like Londoners. I love the atmosphere of Christmas. I adore London, not only at Christmas but all year round! It has a wonderful atmosphere and the city really buzzes.

3. Today we are celebrating our 9th anniversary of our first date. The day we met is a very special day for us and each year we are celebrating it. I love my best friend - Sasha, I love December!

4. And finally, I want to thank Ionut Albu (Romanian poet and blogger) for writing a poem for us. I was amazed and wonderfully surprised when he said that he wants to write a poem for us. The title of the poem is "Buze ninse". Hope you enjoy it even though it is in romanian. :) (I have lots of romanian friends).

La tine-n brate
ma simt ca in casuta din povesti
aceea din mijlocul padurii fermecate
unde este cald si frumos,
unde lemnele trosnesc in semineu
iar iepuri de zapada alearga
prin bucatarie
in timp ce tu ma saruti pe frunte
si imi spui,
in fata focului aprins,
ca visul asta nu se termina maine dimineata.

Te iubesc
cu aceeasi intensitate
cu care stropii de ploaie
lovesc pamantul
intr-o vara
ce pare ca nu are sfarsit.

Pe buzule tale ninse
se simte miros de portocale
si ninge ne-ntrerupt
ca intr-un basm rusesc vechi
in care fericirea
sta ascunsa in coltul camerei
si ne urmareste zambetele.

E atata liniste iar in mine
omuletul de zapada
prinde viata...
E decembrie
si esti aici..

Sunflower Blogging Award

Thank you Bethany for nominating me for this award and sorry for posting it so late. I never ever participated before, but now have that mood to answer questions :)

Here are Bethany's questions and my answers:

1). If you could have an expenses-paid vacation to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would love to go somewhere out of Europe. At the moment dreaming about Hawaii, because it is a beautiful country and I heard that the islanders are wonderful, polite and always willing to help.

2). What would you like to accomplish by the end of 2014?
By the end of the year I desperately want to finish reading all the books I've started.  I read multiple books because I am not always in the mood for the same type of genre. At the moment I am reading four books and am pretty sure that will finish them by the end of this year.

3). If you had a million dollars, how would you use it?
I would help my family, friends and others which are in need and also I would go on a year vacation around the world. The list could continue of course, but I will stop dreaming :)))

4). What are your favorite foods?
My favourite foods are:
* Soup with mushrooms and greens.
* Pasta with prawns
* Baked potatoes
* Sarmale (The vine leaves are stuffed with minced meat, rice and herbs). It is our tradition dish and I really don't know how to wrap sarmale.

5).  What are your favorite Bible verses?
My favourite Bible verses are:
"Be joyful always; pray continually; GIVE THANKS in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
"A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones." - Proverbs 14:13
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever." - Hebrews 13:8
"It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect." - 2 Samuel 22:33

6). What is the best advice on life you can give in up to 3 sentences?
I would want to encourage all my friends and followers to not worry about future, you could dream or hope about something, but never worry. Someone said: "worrying too much is like praying for negative results." It is better to keep your mind motivated to find solutions or to create things you really want.

7). If you could live in any time period, which would you choose?
It would have to be now.

8). What is your dream car and your dream home?
mmmmy dream house With a great view of the ocean and the beach, and it should be with 3 bedrooms, huge living room and two balconies.

9). What languages can you speak?
I can speak: Romanian, Russian, English, Bulgarian and a bit of Spanish :) I would prefer to know French as well. Also one of my resolutions for this year was to learn German and at the moment I could say only few sentences in German. :)

10). Do you have a current occupation; if not, what would your dream job be?
Yes, I do. I am working with young children (TA - year 1). Working with children is great fun. I love listening to their ideas and seeing the way their minds work.

11). What cause(s) are you most opinionated about?
Abortion.

12). Is there any quality you think the Lord is growing in you right now (e.g., patience, love, trust)?
Love, trust, patience.

I don't want to nominate anyone, but I will be happy if you post a comment with your answers.

Keep yourself happy!!!

Bunhill Fields & Wesley's Chapel

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a happy Wednesday :)
Today, I have visited Wesley's Chapel and Bunhill Fields Burial Ground. Both are located walking distance from Old Street tube station and both are situated on the same street (City Road) and will be easy to find as on the other side of City Road, opposite Bunhill Fields, lies Wesley's Chapel and Museum. Bunhill Fields is the site of a small graveyard and Bunhill supposedly derives from Bone Hill. The list of burials in this small yard reads like a who's who of dissenters in London intellectual life - the visionary poet and painter Willian Blake, a Christian preacher and writer of The Pilgrim's Progress - John BunyanDaniel Defoe and others.

The chapel itself is worth seeing as a good example of early Methodist architecture - very beautiful Chapel. Downstairs is a museum dedicated to the world Methodist movement in the old Crypt and a souvenir and book shop. This beautiful Chapel is a great place to visit if you are interested in how people lived in 18th Century England.

Worth a visit - entrance free, but donation entirely merited.

Keep yourself happy!!!
